The Emerson College Lions defeated the Albertus Magnus women's volleyball team 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-9) on Saturday afternoon as the Falcons fall to 2-20 on the year and 1-11 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play.

The Falcons were led by Tiffany Ortiz (New Haven, Conn.) and Elizabeth Williams (West Haven, Conn.) with three kills apiece. Williams added six digs as well. Krista LaBissioniere (Meriden, Conn.) dished out seven assists, while adding eight digs.

Nicole Acerra (East Haven, Conn.) led the Falcons with nine digs.

Madeleine Breeland led the Lions with 10 kills in 16 attempts.

The Falcons return to action on Sunday, Oct. 23 at Sarah Lawrence.
