The Albertus Magnus women's volleyball team, after finishing the regular season with a 12-12 overall record, will play in its first-ever ECAC Tournament beginning on Wednesday.
The eighth-seeded Falcons will play at top-seeded Brandeis at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 7.
Brandeis will host a postseason contest for the first time since 2009 as the Judges are 19-13 on the year.
The Falcons finished 5-3 in their final eight matches of the 2012 regular season and will play in a postseason contest for the first time since 2002. That season saw Albertus play in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament against Rivier as the Falcons fell to the Raiders 3-0 on Nov. 5.
