Members of the Albertus Magnus men’s and women’s volleyball teams volunteered at the annual Special Olympics Connecticut Holiday Sports Classic over the weekend at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.

Head coach Omar Ramirez led the Falcons in the volunteer effort as he refereed the Special Olympics volleyball events for the second-straight year, while members from both Albertus volleyball programs spent time refereeing matches and working as line judges.

This year Glenn Johnson (Newington, Conn.) and Angel Cox (New Haven, Conn.) worked as referees, while Lily Dy (Torrington, Conn.) and Emily Matousek (Hennessey, Okla.) were referees and line judges.
