WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team hung tough, but was handed a 3-1 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) defeat by the University of Saint Joseph on Wednesday evening in West Hartford, Conn.

• The Bluejays outhit the Falcons by a .181-to-.114 margin.
• The duo of Peyton Davis (North Haven, Conn.) and Ashley David (West Islip, N.Y.) led the Albertus offense with eight kills each.
• Jaiden Williams (Orange, Conn.) also had a stellar outing with 24 assists and five digs.
• Defensively, Jesselle Guzman (El Paso, Texas) led all players with 22 digs, her ninth 20-plus-dig match of the season.
• Diana Kalman (Naugatuck, Conn.) also had a strong defensive performance with a team-high three blocks.
• For USJ, Hannah Benson tallied a double-double on 14 kills and 16 digs.
• Nyah Young also recorded a double-double with 37 assists and 11 digs.
