KEY HIGHLIGHTS
• The Rams got the best of the Falcons in the first two sets, winning 25-9 in the first and 25-13 in the second to go ahead 2-0.
• The third set was much closer, as Albertus stayed within five points for much of its duration.
• Unfortunately for AMC, the Rams held on to pick up a straight-set victory.
• Amanda Zdru (Stratford, Conn.) led the way for the Albertus' defense with 11 digs.
• Rachael Pellegrini (Clinton, Conn.) orchestrated the AMC offense with nine assists on the team's 11 kills.
• Da'Veona Parker (New Haven, Conn.) and Peyton Davis (North Haven, Conn.) finished the match with two aces each.

The women's volleyball team resumes Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Saturday, Oct. 22, with a road tri-match at Johnson & Wales (RI) University. The Falcons will first face Lasell University at 12 p.m. before challenging the host Wildcats at 2 p.m.
