West Hartford, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Cross Country Team finished in 2nd Place at the Saint Joseph College Invitational Race on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Veronica Blekis (Plymouth, CT/Terryville) and junior Alisha Darin (Killingworth, CT/Haddam Killingworth) finished in fourth and fifth place respectively. Sophomore Heather Daniels (Madison, CT/Daniel Hand) finished strong in tenth place. It marked the second time this season that the Falcons finished second place or higher.
The Falcons travel to Westfield, MA on Saturday October 9th for the Westfield State Invitational Tournament with an 11:00 am start time.
