White and Van Antwerp Honored as Falcons of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Diamond White (Hamden, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus women's basketball team and Andrew Van Antwerp (Petoskey, Mich.) of the men's ice hockey team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performances last week.

White had 21 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals in a tough road loss to JWU on Tuesday. She scored 18 points and added a couple more steals in a win against Rivier on Saturday.

Van Antwerp had one assist in a 6-5 overtime loss to Salve Regina on Friday. On Saturday, the freshman scored one goal to help lift the Falcons to a 2-1 victory.
