Helwig and Brikes Named Falcons of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Samantha Helwig (Northford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus women's lacrosse team and Anthony Brikes (Staten Island, N.Y.) of the men's lacrosse team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performances the past couple weeks.

Helwig tallied a pair of goals and an assist against Centenary on Saturday. Also, she recorded a career-high in draw controls with five.

Brikes recorded his first two career goals against Mt. St. Vincent in the team's season opener. The freshman then recorded another goal and an assist against Salem State on Saturday.
