Arent and Barreiro Named Falcons of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Bobby Arent (Ridgefield, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus baseball team and Izzy Barreiro (Brookfield, Conn.) of the softball team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performances in the final week of spring sports for the Falcons.

Arent batted .357 in the last four games of the season for the Falcons. The senior went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored in a 12-7 win over Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Monday. He followed that up with a 2-for-5 day at the plate against WestConn on Wednesday.

Barreiro batted .308 in the final week of the season for the Falcons. She went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and five RBI in a 18-10 win over Saint Joseph's College of Maine during GNAC pod play on Friday.
