Stephen Zapata '12

Stephen Zapata graduated in 2012 from Albertus Magnus College as the all-time leader in assists (52) both in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) as well as the Albertus Magnus men's soccer program.

As a junior, Zapata became the second men's soccer player to earn All-New England honors after finishing first in the nation with a career-best 23 assists and 1.15 assists per game. As a senior, he helped lead the Falcons' to win the GNAC Title for the second time in program history as well as earning the program's first NCAA Tournament bid. Following the campaign, Zapata received year-end honors such as NEISL All-Star, ECAC Division 3 New England All-Star, All-New England Second Team and All-American Second Team.

In addition, the three-time All-Conference honoree capped a stellar four-year campaign ranking second all-time in points with 114 and fifth all-time in goals with 31.
