Email: jperrier@albertus.edu

Jason Perrier just concluded his third season as the assistant coach of the Albertus Magnus College men’s basketball team.

In the 2016-17 season, Perrier was the assistant coach for the men’s basketball team at Weston High School. While there, his team went 9-6 in conference play and posted a 14-8 record overall.

Prior to Weston High School, Perrier was the head JV coach and an assistant varsity coach at University High School from 2014-2016. In two years as a varsity assistant coach, the University High basketball team went 30-18 overall, with a 21-3 league record.

In the spring of 2015, Perrier became the Program Coordinator and Marketing Director of Elite Sporting Events, a role he still holds today. In this role, Perrier runs tournaments, camps, and clinics for players and works on improving the skill sets of college-bound high school players.

In the spring of 2011, Perrier began his role as an exposure director and national coach for high school players, where he organized competitive events for players and contacted colleges about upcoming events, a position he still holds in addition to his coaching responsibilities at Albertus Magnus and his coordinator and director role with Elite Sporting Events.

Prior to his coaching career, Perrier was a Division II men's basketball player at American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was a four-year player and two-year starter as a guard, appearing in 88 career games and amassing 34 starts. Over his career, he scored 484 points, grabbed 214 rebounds, totaled 67 blocks and 37 steals, and shot a career of 65.5 percent from the free-throw line.
