
Newton, MA - The Lasell University men's lacrosse team hosted the Falcons of Albertus Magnus at Grellier Field on Saturday afternoon. They would post a season-high 22 goals and take a 22-1 victory.
Jack Condon and Ryan Stone scored early and often in this one as they combined for 7 of 8 first-quarter goals. Lukah Ready would add another goal in the period for the Lasers and they would find themselves up 8-1 through 15 minutes. In the second quarter, Stone would rattle off three more scores and Condon added another to his tally taking a 12-1 margin into halftime. The momentum carried over once again into the third as Condon and Stone each had two more goals apiece with Will McCarthy and Carson Tucker adding scores. The Lasers would round out the game with three additional scores in the final period, two from Austin Wenzel and one from Finnegan McCormick.
Condon and Stone each had historic days for the Lasers as they combined for 16 of the 22 Laser goals. Condon who had 9 goals and 2 assists had 11 total points, which now ties him for second all-time in points in a single game and also ranks second for goals in a game. Stone who rifled in 7 shots and chipped in 2 assists tied himself for fifth in total points in a game with 9, coupled with moving into a tie for fifth for goals scored. Sophomore Cameron Soave got his first win on the season as he tallied 11 saves and only allowed one goal.
Up Next - The Lasers will be home again on Tuesday afternoon, playing host to the Colonels of Curry College.
