Men's Tennis Wraps up Regular-Season Play
Leopards defeat Albertus Magnus to head into the postseason with a 10-9 record

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Wentworth Institute of Technology men's tennis team wrapped up regular-season play Wednesday afternoon with a 7-2 win over Albertus Magnus.
With the win the Leopards improve to 10-9 on the season, assuring them of finishing the season with a .500 or better record.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sophomore Erica Doraci (Natick, Mass.) teamed with classmate Rene Rodriguez (Doral, Fla.) for an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles. Wentworth took a 2-0 lead as junior Niko Rosich (Chicago, Ill.) and freshman Manas Arya (Hessen, Germany) were 8-0 winners at No. 3. Senior Daniel Gallegos (Monterrey, Mexico) paired with junior Pranav Marwaha (Nashua, N.H.) to complete the sweep with an 8-1 win at No. 2.
- After Albertus Magnus got on the board with a win at No. 6 singles, Marwaha pushed the Leopards closer to clinching the match with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1. Sophomore Damien Josephson (Waterbury, Conn.) provided the clinching point with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 5.
- Sophomore James Weete (Dover, N.H.) won at No. 2, 6-1, 6-1, while sophomore Thomas Kot (Farmington, Conn.) won at No. 4.
