MLax: Lasers Offense Proves Too Much for the Falcons in 21-3 Win

New Haven, CT. - The Lasers offense made quick work of Albertus Magnus Falcons in this weekends GNAC matchup, winning 21-3. 

The Lasers put up three unanswered goals to start the first, allowing the Falcons just a singular goal in the entire quarter. 

Lasell tacked five more goals on the board over the course of the second quarter. The Lasers held Albertus to just three shots over the course of the quarter, climbing up to a 9-1 lead heading into halftime. 

Despite the lead, the Lasers didn't let up in the third quarter. Lasell's defense kept the Falcons to another scoreless quarter, lead by senior Francis Pino

The fourth quarter opened up with four Laser goals, followed by two back to back Falcons goals. Lasell's Colin LeBaron, who scored a hattrick in the fourth quarter, answered with the last goal of the game. 

Three different Lasers collected a hat trick on the day, Anthony DeRosa, Colin LeBaron, and Ryan Stone. On the defensive end, senior LSM Pino tied the Lasell record for caused turnovers in a single game, with a whopping seven caused turnovers. Cameron Soave collected four saves in the net for the Lasers.
