New Haven, Conn. – For the second time this season, freshman Brandon Clark (Cheshire, Conn.) and senior Andrew Scully (Stratford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College baseball team have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honors for their performances in last week's contests. The two athletes led the Falcons to a record of 3-1 throughout the week, improving the team's overall record to 6-12 and 3-1.

Scully,  who was named the GNAC Player of the Week, enjoyed a huge offensive weekend, hitting .571 (8-14) with 1.000 slugging percentage and three RBI as the Falcons went 3-1. In a doubleheader sweep over Anna Maria, Scully was 3-for-7 with five runs scored before capping the weekend by going 5-for-7 with a homer, two doubles, three runs and two RBI against Norwich. The round-tripper was a walkoff solo shot to lift the Falcons to a 5-4 win in Game 1.

Clark, who was named the GNAC Rookie of the Week, slashed .333/.471/.667 in a 3-1 week, which included a team-high seven RBI, three runs, a double and a home run. The catcher connected for his first collegiate home run to go with a career-high four RBI against Anna Maria.
