MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- The Albertus Magnus College baseball team suffered its first loss of the season to Catholic University (Pa.), 19-4 on Sunday evening at The Ripken Experience.
Eric Galarza (Bridgeport, Conn.) was 1-for-3 with two RBI and Adriel Espada (Bridgeport, Conn.) was 1-for-3 with a run.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Albertus jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first as Elijah Spataj (Cheshire, Conn.) drove in Espada with an RBI single followed by a two-run triple by Galarza.
- The Cardinals responded with two runs in the top of the second on a two-run homer from Sammy Burman and the Falcons would get one back on a wild pitch that scored King Rivera.
- However in the third, the Cardinals took the lead for good in the top of the third, going up 7-4, highlighted by a three-run homer from Mitchel Johnson.
- Catholic added a run apiece in both the 5th and 6th inning and added three in the seventh, including a homer from Michael Napolitano making it a 124 game. They'd put the game away in the ninth with a seven-run inning.
