New Haven, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team improved to 10-4 on the year as the Falcons cruised past Rivier University, 102-64, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) clash at "The Nest" on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:

• Over the first 15 minutes of play, Albertus and Rivier battled through four ties and six lead changes.
• The Raiders' largest lead during that time span was four, 28-24, at the 6:56 mark.
• Following the final tie, 28-28, Albertus would go on a 16-4 run to close out the half with a 12-point lead, 44-32.
• Freshman Davon Warner (New Haven, Conn.) led the Falcons' attack with 10 points while Andrew Rice (West Haven, Conn.) and Jahrell Spence (Hartford, Conn.) added seven and eight points, respectively.

Second Half:

• Rivier cut the Falcons lead to within 10, 46-36, following a made jumper from Tyler Bradanese.
• With the clock winding down, Albertus pushed its lead to 20, 59-39, before finding themselves up 30, 78-48, with 7:19 remaining in regulation.
• Albertus continued to score on offense and took its biggest lead of the game, 91-52, at the 4:56 mark.
• From that point on, Rivier was only able to score 12 points.
