New Haven, Conn. - Freshman Davon Warner (New Haven, Conn.) scored a team-high 17 points while junior Liam Perryman (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) led the defensive attack with three blocks as the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team cruised past Norwich University, 80-59, on Saturday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half:
- Albertus Magnus came out of the gate hot opening regulation with a commanding 13-3 lead, that included six-points from Ryan Pittman (Startford, Conn.).
- Norwich battled back to within three, 13-10, after putting together a 7-0 run that was sparked by a three from Kyle Booth.
- The Falcons countered back with an 18-4 run to extend its lead to 17, 31-14, with 5:44 remaining in the half.
- Norwich chipped away at the Falcons' lead and would head into the locker room down 36-21.
Second Half:
- Two minutes into the half, Albertus found themselves up 18, 41-23, until the 15:25 mark as the Cadets battled to within 11, 45-34.
- Albertus would put the game out of reach for the Cadets, taking its biggest lead of the game with 28, 62-34, after putting together a 17-0 run during a five minute span.
