NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Behind three double-digit scorers, including a team-best 21 points from Davon Warner (New Haven, Conn.), the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team extended its winning streak to four straight games following its 78-60 victory over the visiting Wildcats of Johnson & Wales University on Sunday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.  

Along with Warner, senior Terry Dawkins (Bronx, N.Y.) and Saikwon Williams (Norwalk, Conn.) also scored in double-figures as the duo finished with 11 each. On the defensive end, junior Justice Washington (Hamden, Conn.) tied his season-high in blocks with six, while Kevin Crawford (Bridgeport, Conn.) and Williams posted a combined three on the day.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS
First Half:

• The Falcons owned a one-point lead, 10-9, through the first five minutes. 
• AMC then put together an 18-4 run over the next six minutes to storm ahead by 15 points, 28-13. 
• Albertus built its lead to a half-high 17 points, 36-19, after a Justice Washington (Hamden, Conn.) layup at the 6:59 mark. 
• The Falcons maintained a double-digit lead for much of the end of the half, taking a 13-point advantage, 42-29, into the halftime break. 

Second Half:

• Albertus opened the second half with a 9-2 surge to go ahead by 20, 51-31, with 15:17 left. Warner accounted for five of the nine points with a deep 3-pointer and layup. 
• The Wildcats got to as close as eight points, 63-45, following a 24-12 run.
• However, Albertus did not let this run slow it down, as JWU did not get within 13 points for the remainder of the game. 
• A Warner three with 41 seconds left capped off the Falcons' stellar performance, setting the final score 78-60 Albertus.
