  • The next four minutes saw Regis (Mass.) battle back to within four, 9-5, before Bonilla nailed his second 3-pointer of the evening to bring the score to 12-5.
  • Shortly after, the Pride rallied together a short 5-0 push that brought the score within one possession, 17-14, with just under 15 minutes to play in the first.
  • AMC roared right back with a 9-4 run, capped by a Bonilla three, that extended its lead to eight, 26-18, with 12:08 remaining on the clock.
  • Out of a timeout, Albertus resumed its offensive charge with an 8-1 surge that pushed its lead to 14, 36-22. Avery Hinnant (Naugatuck, Conn.), Saikwon Williams (Norwalk, Conn.), and Tashawn Tokley (Merchantville, N.J.) all scored for the Falcons, with Hinnant delivering a massive slam dunk at the 10:38 mark.

  • For the remainder of the first, Albertus maintained its double-digit lead and headed into the halftime break with a 19-point advantage, 53-34.
  • AMC kicked off the second half with a 6-0 run on baskets from Malcolm Duncanson (West Haven, Conn.), Dawkins, and Daniels to increase its lead to 59-34.

  • A defensive battle ensued for the next four minutes, as the teams found themselves in a 70-44 game going into the final 10 minutes of regulation.
  • A Tokely slam dunk was sandwiched between free throws from Jacqual Gertrude (Jersey City, N.J.) and a Washington layup pushed the blue-and-white's lead to 77-46 with just under seven minutes to play in the half.

  • Soon after, the Pride rallied together a 6-2 run but was countered by a 4-0 run from the Falcons heading into the final few minutes of regulation.
