Another Match, Another Win For Men's Golf As Falcons Win Sixth Straight Against Old Westbury

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team kept its perfect season alive, defeating Old Westbury in a duel at the famed par 71 Bethpage State Park Black Course on Friday afternoon. Albertus shot 310, 19 strokes better than Old Westbury.

Once again, the Falcons were led by Shamar Wilson (Runaway Bay, Jamaica) who shot a three-under-par 68 to earn medalist for the fifth time this season. 

Charlie Kristofak (West Hartford, Conn.) shot a 78, while Kyle Sikorski (Norwich, Conn.),  playing in the no. 3 spot and David Aquavia (Oakville, Conn.), the no. 5 player both shot an 82. Sam Witt (Calgary, Alberta) shot an 86.

The Falcons continue to build on their already record-breaking season with their sixth win of the year.

Up next, the Falcons host the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tournament at New Haven Country Club in Hamden, Conn. on October 9-10. The Falcons were selected to win the championship in the pre-championship poll.
