HOW IT HAPPENED
It took the Falcons 10:38 to take the game's first lead after a goal by Gagnon. After JJ Berdal (Wausau, Wis.) stole the puck in his defensive zone, he sent a quick pass to Tyler Ignazzitto (Bath, Ontario), who turned and fed Gagnon for the streaking goal.

Albertus added to its lead midway through the second period, scoring a power-play goal at the 9:49 mark to take a 2-0 advantage. On a faceoff with an extra man, Sam Anderson (Calgary, Alberta) tipped the draw to Pellegrino for a wrister through the keeper's five-hole for the goal. Pellegrino's tally is his first in an Albertus uniform.

The Falcons found the back of the net again 3:49 later to storm ahead 3-0. With 13:38 gone in the second, Charles Risk (Medicine Hat, Alberta) kept the puck in his zone before passing to Allan in front of the crease for the easy goal.

Unfortunately for the Falcons, they lost the clean sheet with 4:50 left in the game. After a turnover in the neutral zone, the Mustangs capitalized on a 3-on-1 chance to make it a 3-1 game.

This late goal stood as the only one for Morrisville, as Albertus iced the game with 1:09 left on an empty-net tally. Following a Mustangs' turnover, Stein scored his team-leading ninth goal of the year after passes from Anderson and Gagnon.

Bateman finished the evening game with 31 saves on 32 shots for his 10th win of the season. Bateman has tallied 30-plus saves in two of his last three starts.
