NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Kyle Dann (Windham, N.H.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team was named the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Player of the Week for the first week of the season after his performance in the team's season-opening 4-0 win over Johnson and Wales University.

In the win, Dann had a goal and an assist for a career-high three points.

Dann notched his first assist on a goal from Connor Bertamini (Calgary, Alberta) in the second period to give Albertus a 2-0 lead at the time. He scored his first goal of the season at the 8:36 mark in the third. He added one more assist with five seconds remaining on a goal from Paden Hicks (Kansas City, Mo.).

Albertus will head to Norwich University to take on the Cadets on November 8-9 for a weekend series for their first NEHC games in program history.
