
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team lost a 4-1 game to Skidmore College to close out its New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) weekend series on Saturday evening.
Paden Hicks (Kansas City, Mo.) scored the lone goal for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Skidmore jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period despite the two teams each taking 13 shots on goal.
- The Thoroughbreds scored two goals inside a minute over midway through the first period. Stephen Perez scored the first as he poked the puck into the net after Skidmore won a faceoff at the 12:43 mark. Just 49 seconds later Coleman Jenkins made it a 2-0 lead for Skidmore.
- Ethan Heiderpriem added a third goal in the period at 17:59 on a backhand.
- After the Falcons gave up a goal at 14:27 in the second period to go down, 4-0 Hicks was able to answer on a power-play goal just 26 seconds later to put the Falcons on the board. Eight seconds into a power-play, Tyler Ignazzitto (Bath, Ontario) took a pass behind the net from Sam Anderson (Calgary, Alberta) and fed the puck to Hicks in front of the net, who put it past Skidmore goaltender, Joshua Seeley to make it a 4-1 game.
- In a scoreless third period, Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) stopped all nine shots he faced as the two teams went scoreless in the final 20 minutes.
