New Haven, Conn. – Despite a hat trick from James May (Branford, Conn.), the Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team fell at home to Anna Maria College, 13-4, in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference showdown on Wednesday evening at Celentano Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Anna Maria controlled the opening quarter, outscoring Albertus Magnus, 5-1, despite Brennan Moore (Meriden, Conn.) cutting the AMCATS' lead in half, 2-1, at the 8:20 mark. May would open the second scoring his 19th of the season on a man-up opportunity, but the Falcons would head into the locker room trailing the visitors' 9-2.

The Falcons' defene stepped up holding Anna Maria to only four goals over the final 30 minutes of play before suffering the conference setback, 13-4. May led Albertus Magnus in the third and fourth scoring a goal in each quarter.
