NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Four Falcons recorded a goal for the Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team in the 16-4 Great Northeast Conference Athletic Conference loss against in-state rival the University of Saint Joseph's (Conn.) to round out their season at Celentano Field on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Blue Jays netted the first goal of the contest less than two minutes into the opening quarter after back-to-back saves by Albertus' goalkeeper Dane Walsh (Bethany, Conn.).
• Jeremy Tremblay (Orford, Québec) retaliated with the game-tying goal a little over a minute later following a successful Falcons clear, kicked off by another denial by Walsh.
• Four more goals found the back of the net to pad the visitors lead in the first period, including a man-up tally to put Saint Joseph's (Conn.) up, 3-1.
• Just like in the first quarter, Brendan Tedeschi delivered the opening goal before two straight goals by Kader Price (Walden, N.Y.) and Cooper Strecker (Chester, Conn.) closed the gap to within three. DaKari Coleman (Norwalk, Conn.) caused a USJ midfielder turnover before lobbing the ball to Shane Kelly (Madison, Conn.), who beautifully set up Price's 20th-season goal. After a close shot on goal by Tremblay, Strecker regained composure for the Falcons to notch another point before the half.
• USJ tacked on nine more goals across the last three periods before Bailey Kirwin (Barrie, Ontario) whipped the ball to Kelly for the score.
