Men's Lacrosse Picked To Finish Fifth In South Division As GNAC Preseason Poll Is Released

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team was picked to finish in fifth place in the South Division as the 2025 Coaches Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Poll was released.

The Falcons received 27 voting points.

Defending GNAC champion the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) was picked to repeat as champions, receiving 77 voting points and 12 first-place votes. Lasell was picked second with 56 voting points and the remaining first-place vote. Dean - last season's runner up - was picked third with 55 voting points.

Johnson & Wales received 44 voting points, followed by Albertus and Mitchell (14 voting points).

In the North Division, Rivier was picked to win with 85 voting points and 11 first-place votes. Norwich was selected second with 70 voting points. Saint Joseph's College (Maine) had 66 voting points and one first-place vote and Emmanuel received 62 voting points and the remaining first-place vote.

New England College (39 voting points), Regis (24) and Anna Maria (19) rounded out the poll.

The Falcons open up their season on February 22 as they host Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m.
