NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Anthony Brikes (Staten Island, N.Y.) of the Albertus Magnus men's lacrosse team earned Rookie of the Week as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its weekly awards for games played through Sunday, March 9th.

Brikes was responsible for seven of the Falcons' eight points as he found the back of the net six times and assisted once to lift the Falcons to an 8-7 victory over St. Joseph's (L.I.) on Wednesday.

The first-year attacker has now racked up 11 points in the first three games of the season. Tallying nine goals and two assists.

The Falcons are back in action Tuesday at 3 p.m. as they host Cairn University.
