Paxton, Mass. - Sophomore Abdoul Aremu (West Haven, Conn.) scored the game-winning goal at the 73rd minute to lift the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team to a thrilling 2-1 win over Anna Maria College Wednesday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Anna Maria opened the scoring at the 24th minute as Ryan Todesco scored his first of the season after converting on a feed from Connor Francis.
Ten minutes into the second, freshman Emmanuel Yeboah (Hamden, Conn.) evened the score up at 1-1 scoring his third of the season following a long pass from Tyler Saad (Naugatuck, Conn.).
With the clock winding down, Aremu would find the back of the net for his first game-winner of the year to send the Falcons home with the "W".
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Albertus outshot Anna Maria, 19-6, as well as held the advantage in corner kicks, 7-3.
- Along with his goal, Yeboah led the offensive attach with a team-high six shots while Areumo and Digo Cruz (Naugatuck, Conn.) added three shots each.
- Tedesco and Tim Harrington recorded a team-best two shots.
- Both teams had 11 fouls a piece.
- Sophomore Albert Afful (West Haven, Conn.) recorded his first collegiate point following the assist on Aremu's goal.
