HOW IT HAPPENED
Westfield took an early chance in the first minute of play, calling for an incredible save from goalkeeper David Lucero (East Haven, Conn.)

The Falcons got on the board early, scoring in the 7th minute. Kelvin Cortez (Meriden, Conn.) beat his defender down the line to send a cross into the six-yard box. Both Colby Nardelli (Berlin, Conn.) and Baldwin made streaking runs into the box. Nardelli just barely flicked the ball past himself to Stone who was waiting for an easy tap-in at the back post.

The Albertus team kept its foot on the gas and scored again in the 13th minute of play. Baldwin snuck a pass down the line to Cortez who sent in a cross. Bocchio made a streaking run to the ball and struck a high shot into the net to go up 2-0.

The Falcons found another opportunity to score in the 28th minute to go 3-0. The Falcons drew a free kick from a foul by the Owls situated 30 yards out from the goal. Cortez played a quick sneaky pass down the line to Eduardo Chavez (Norwalk, Conn.) who pushed past his defender. Chavez sent in a cross that deflected out to the foot of Stone to score.

The final goal for the Falcons came off a header by Paglia in the 85th minute. Walter Fontes (Hamden, Conn.) sent in a corner kick that deflected off the Owls goalkeeper Collin O'Brien, sending a rebound that was headed in by Paglia to seal the win for Albertus.
