NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus Falcons men's soccer team got back in the win column, defeating Elms, 3-0 on Wednesday in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

Five minutes later it was Cortez's turn to score as Walter Fontes (Hamden, Conn.) placed a ball over the head of two Elms defenders to Cortez, who was in between them, and flicked the ball with his right foot as it went over the head of Liedke for a 2-0 Falcons lead.
