HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons maintained possession the better part of the first half and finally got on the board in the 20th minute as Eduardo Chavez (Norwalk, Conn.) kicked a low line drive at a tough angle along the goal line and snuck the ball in by the far post to make it a 1-0 Falcons lead.
A strike from Sean Doherty of Dean just five minutes later tied the game at 1-1 and it would remain the score going into halftime.
Chavez again found himself in the middle of the action in the 52nd minute as he beat two defenders and centered a pass along the goal line to Ben Pierce who tapped it in and gave the Falcons the 2-1 lead.
Albertus tacked on one more goal in the 52nd minute as Colby Nardelli (Berlin, Conn.) headed in a corner kick from Kris Bocchio for his second goal of the season.
