New Haven, CT - Albertus Magnus College Head Women's Basketball Coach Ed Panzo is excited to announce a trio of local top players that will joining the Lady Falcons next season.

Nicole Accerra starred at nearby East Haven High School in her role as point guard.  Lianna Carrero shined in the back court for local Hamden High School.  Lindsay Karle also starred at the guard position at Lyman Hall High School.

"All three played a big role at their High Schools last year.  I feel very confident that they will carry their success onto the College level," stated Coach Panzo.

The Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball Team finished the season 13-14, 8-4 GNAC losing 80-57 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Semi-Finals finishing in Third Place in the GNAC during the regular season.  The Lady Falcons graduated three seniors in Alyson Medeiros (Wallingford, CT), Kendra Dowen (Montpelier, VT), and Krystal Bryant (New Haven, CT).  The Lady Falcons return 1st Team ECAC All-New England center Kendrae Walker (New Haven, CT) for her senior season.
