West Hartford, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball team dropped a 78-40 decision to Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent and host St. Joseph's College (CT) on Saturday afternoon. 

The Falcons shooting woes continued for the third straight game, shooting just 27.5% from the field and 26.7% from beyond the arc.

St. Joe's (CT) received a balanced scoring attack with four players in double figures.  Albertus was led by freshman guard Lianna Carrero (Hamden, CT/Hamden) who had a game high 18 points and five rebounds.

Albertus drops to 5-7, 0-3 GNAC while St. Joe's (CT) improves to 9-4, 1-2 GNAC.

The Falcons return to action on Monday at 1:00 pm when they host GNAC opponent Lasell College.
