Providence, RI - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Basketball team dropped a 71-49 decision to host and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent Johnson and Wales University on Thursday night. The Falcons struggled from beyond the three point line shooting just 1-21 on the night.
Albertus trailed 34-24 at halftime but couldn't find it's shooting rhythm from beyond the arc shooting 0-9 in the second half.
The Falcons were led by senior forward Bianca Brown (West Haven, CT/Career) and her game high 18 points and team high eight rebounds on 8-12 shooting.
Johnson and Wales received a balanced scoring effort with three players in double figures on the night.
Albertus drops to 8-12, 2-7 GNAC while Johnson and Wales University imrpoves to 6-16, 3-6 GNAC.
The Falcons return to action on the road as they take on host and GNAC opponent Rivier College at 1:00 pm on Saturday in Nashua, NH.
