The Albertus Magnus women's basketball team will be the fifth seed in the upcoming Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament, which is set to begin on Tuesday, Feb. 19, and will face fourth-seeded Rivier University at 7:00 p.m. in Nashua, N.H.
Albertus is 19-6 on the year after finishing the regular-season with an 84-77 win at Johnson & Wales in Providence, R.I. on Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons are led this season by Lianna Carrero (Hamden, Conn.) with 21.1 points per game, while Kendrea Walker (New Haven, Conn.), who tallied a career-high 38 points on Saturday, is averaging a double-double with 14.9 points and 11.3 rebounds.
Rivier is 15-9 on the year and finished the GNAC regular-season with an 8-4 record.
The winner of Tuesday night's contest will face the winner of the No. 1 Emmanuel vs. No. 8 Saint Joseph match-up.
