NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey team lost a 7-1 game on Saturday afternoon at Ralph Walker Ice Rink to the Connecticut College Camels.
Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) scored the lone goal for the Falcons early in the second period, but the Camels finished with five unanswered goals to earn the win.

- HOW IT HAPPENED
The Camels got on the board on the power play at the 6:47 mark as a shot from Clare Sammons was initially stopped by Albertus goaltender Christmas Johnson (Winnipeg, Manitoba), but the shot trickled in to make it a 1-0 lead for Conn. College. - Less than six minutes later, the Camels made it a 2-0 game on a shot from Galen Kilfeather just moments after a faceoff on a shot just in front of the blue line after a pass from Ashley Engle.
- The Camels went into the first intermission with the two-goal lead, but just 31 seconds into the second period, Clark took a pass from Gabriella Dellacroce (Woodbridge, Conn.) to score her second goal of the season on a slap shot.
- The one-goal deficit lasted for the next eight minutes until Abby Munger scored on a pass from Sydney Cresta as the Camels got ahead of the defense and scored on an open left side of the net.
- Conn. College opened the lead to 4-1 after Jess Pistorino put in a rebound from a shot by Charlotte Harris.
- In the third period, the Camels put the game away less than five minutes in as Sammons scored her second goal of the game followed by a goal from Miyu Miyazaki just ten seconds apart. Cresta added one more at the 16:50 mark of the third.
