Newton, MA - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Soccer Team won it's fourth straight game behind two goals from sophomore forward Danielle Figueroa (Bridgeport, CT).  Figueroa's first goal came in the 11th minute on a well placed shot into the top left corner from the right side of the 18 yard box to give the Lady Falcons the 1-0 lead.  Figueroa would again find the back of the net in the 33rd minute as she finished a corner kick from freshman midfielder Amanda Roke (Cheshire, CT).  The Lady Falcons would take a 2-0 lead into halftime after outshooting Mount Ida College 16-8 in the first half.  The second half saw Albertus find the back of the net for the third time with a finish off the leg of freshman midfielder Brittany Ross (Ansonia, CT) on a cross from senior forward Samantha Gigliotti (Wolcott, CT) in the 68th minute of play.  Freshman goalkeeper Christina Dineson (Milford, CT) and senior goalkeeper Christina Oddo (East Haven, CT) each made 3 saves to combine for the shutout victory.  Albertus Magnus improves to 4-2, 2-0 GNAC while Mount Ida College drops to 1-3-1, 0-2 GNAC this season.  The Lady Falcons host GNAC opponent Rivier College at 3:15 pm on Saturday at Celentano Field.
