New Haven, CT - Sophomore forward Danielle Figueroa (Bridgeport, CT) netted three goals in a 3-1 victory over visiting Mitchell College on Tuesday afternoon.  The Lady Falcons have won their program record sixth game in a row and did so in a game that saw them outshoot their opponents 24-4.  After a scoreless half, Figueroa scored in the 60th minute with her left foot on a pass from senior Jenna Riccio (North Branford, CT) to make the score 1-0.  Mitchell college responded just three minutes later when junior forward Nikki Hoxie (Winsted, CT) finished a pass from sophomore forward Kaitlyn McGinn (Millstone, NJ) to tie the game 1-1.  Figueroa would score the eventual game winner in the 76th minute as she one timed the ball into the back of the net on a pass from senior forward Samantha Gigliotti (Wolcott, CT).  Figueroa completed the hat trick when she finished a cross from Gigliotti off her head to make the score 3-1.  Albertus improves to 6-2, 3-0 GNAC while Mitchell College drops to 2-4, 0-0 NECC.  The Lady Falcons return to action on Wednesday as they host Great Northeast Athletic Conference opponent Pine Manor College at 4:00 pm.
