The Albertus Magnus women's soccer team will play in its second-straight ECAC Tournament this week as the fifth-seeded Falcons head to fourth-seeded Framingham State on Wednesday to play in a 1:00 p.m. contest.

The Wednesday afternoon contest will be played Maple Street Field in Framingham, Mass. The Falcons are 12-4-3 on the year and will travel to the 13-2-1 Rams.

Framingham State finished the regular-season with a 13-1-1 overall record before being knocked out of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Tournament by the lower ranked Worcester State 3-0.

The Rams are making their first postseason and ECAC Tournament appearance since 2003 and are led by the 2013 MASCAC women's soccer player of the year in senior midfielder Kayla Austin. Austin has posted 39 points on the year with 13 goals and 13 assists, while teammate Marisa Parent tallied a team-high 40 points on 18 goals and four assists.

In goal for the Rams has been sophomore Sara Sullivan as of late, starting the last five-straight games for Framingham State.  She has recorded five shutouts this season and has allowed just 12 goals as she has posted a 10-1-1 overall record.

Albertus and the Rams will face off for just the second time in program history after the Falcons fell to Framingham State 6-1 at home on Sept. 14, 2006.

After finishing the regular-season with a 17-2-3 record, Roger Williams University was selected as the No. 1 seed in the eight-team ECAC Division III New England field, with a quarterfinal round followed by a semifinal and championship round.

In the first-round contests on Wednesday, Nov. 13, Roger Williams University (17-2-3) will host Elms College (11-9-1) at 1 p.m., while the second seed, Brandeis University (10-6-2), will face No. 7 Castleton State College (13-8-1) at 7 p.m. at Brandeis.  No. 3 Wheaton College (14-6-2) plays Eastern Nazerene College (11-7-1) at 1:30 p.m. at Wheaton and Framingham State University (13-2-1) will take on Albertus Magnus College (12-4-3) at 1 p.m. in the No. 4/No. 5 match-up at Framingham State.
