The Albertus Magnus women's soccer team has earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2012-13 academic year.
The Falcons are one of a total of 863 soccer teams with a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. There were 270 men's teams and 593 women's teams to earn the honor, while 186 schools had both its men's and women's teams recognized.
Previously this fall, the Falcons were recognized by Albertus Magnus College as they were named the winning team of the annual Sister Charles Marie Brantl, O.P. Award. The annual award goes to the team with the highest cumulative grade point average (GPA) from the previous academic year.
