The Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team won their fourth straight game with a 2-0 victory over host Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent University of St. Joseph's on Saturday afternoon.

Senior midfielder Taylor Jagoe (Milford, Conn.) got the Falcons on the board just 4 minutes into the second half when she finished a beautiful cross from sophomore forward Kaitlyn Fedumenti (Stratford, Conn.).  The Falcons would keep the pressure on and score again in the 81st minute when junior defender Lauren Piroscafo (Naugatuck, Conn.) buried a deflected ball off of the keeper to give the Falcons the 2-0 lead.  Fedumenti's cross found USJ goal keeper Melissa Dodge (Watertown, Conn.) to set up the play.

Junior keeper Maria Case (West Haven, Conn.) made five saves to earn the shutout for the Falcons.  Fedumenti assisted on both goals.

Albertus improved to 5-3, 2-0 GNAC while USJ dropped to 3-4, 1-1 GNAC.  The Falcons return to action on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. when they host non-conference opponent Trinity College at Celentano Field.
