HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons and Beavers traded shots for the first 27 minutes. Victoria Jainchill (Simsbury, Conn.) led the Falcons with two shots, while Jordan Kikosicki (East Haven, Conn.) and Andrews fired off a shot each. In the 27th minute, Shaw took control of the ball and dribbled furiously up the pitch, before sending a hard pass across the green to Montesanto, who quickly fired it through the pipes for the first goal of the game. The Falcons kept up the pressure for the remainder of the half, until the Beavers took control of the ball in the final minute of the stanza and quickly tied the game 1-all with seconds left in the half.

Albertus came out firing in the second half, as Andrews, Kikosicki, and Jainchill all took a shot for the net. The Beavers' keeper Amelia Cataldo remained firm in the goal, deflecting all three of the Falcons' attempts.

CCNY took the lead at the 56th minute, as Nicole Magretta snuck one just past the fingertips of the Falcons' goaltender to make it a 2-1 match. The Beavers struck again minutes later, firing one through the pipes for the third score of the contest.

The blue-and-white regained control of the ball following the Beavers' offensive output and made it count. Andrews gained possession and streaked up the field, finding Ianniello waiting near the net, before feeding her the perfect pass. Ianniello wasted no time, firing the pass into the back of the goal to trim the deficit to 3-2 with 17 minutes remaining in regulation.

Moments later, Albertus took control of the ball again, with Stocking leading the offensive surge. The rookie took care of business herself, dribbling through the Beavers' defenders, before rifling a shot into the back of the net for her first career goal to knot the score at 3-all.

The Falcons and Beavers exchanged shots in the final 10 minutes of the game, but neither team was able to put the decisive tally on the board, and the match ended in a t 3-3 draw.
