HOW IT HAPPENED
• Neither team could secure much of an advantage over the first 15 minutes, as the AMCATS were held to just two shots, while the Falcons could not get a shot off.
• In the 16th minute, Andrews gained possession of the ball and took off up the pitch, feeding a pass to Jainchill, who quickly ripped a shot past AMCATS' keeper Alice Yokabaskas for the first score of the match.
• The Falcons added to their lead in the 40th minute, as Ejalam Bravo (New Britain, Conn.) sent a pass to McGeehan, who wasted no time, rifling a shot into the back of the net to double the Falcons' lead to 2-0.
• The AMCATS fired off three shots in the final six minutes but could not hang a tally on the board, and the teams transitioned into halftime, with the Falcons holding the 2-0 advantage.
• Albertus resumed its offensive attack out of the break, firing a shot and a corner kick in the first two minutes. However, an AMCAT penalty in the 48th minute brought Andrews to the goal line, where she promptly rocketed a shot into the back of the net for the score.
• The Falcons continued to press their advantage, unleashing a corner kick and a pair of shots over the next 10 minutes. Finally, in the 58th minute, the Falcons added to their lead on a goal by Ismaili to take a 4-0 advantage.
• The teams traded shots and possessions until the 88th minute when Anna Maria's Jordyn Butler snuck one into the net to trim the AMCATS' deficit to 4-1.
• Despite the late goal, Anna Maria could not mount the comeback, and the Falcons walked away with a 4-1 conference victory.
