NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team rallied from an early one goal deficit to tie Norwich University, 1-1 in the team's Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) home opener on Saturday at Celentano Field.
Stacey Casorla (Southington, Conn.) scored the lone goal for the Falcons in the first half.
Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.) had four saves for Albertus.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Norwich broke the scoreless tie in the 31st minute as Lilly Briggs stole the ball in the Cadets offensive zone and floated a pass to Maddy Perry who took a shot from the top of the box past Stevens who came out of the net to try and stop the shot.
- With 1:09 seconds left in the first half, Julia Tsakonas (West Haven, Conn.) fed a pass to the middle of the box and Casorla tapped the ball with her right foot into the low left corner of the net to tie the game at 1-1 just before halftime. It was Casorla's third goal of the season.
- Stevens had three of her four saves in the first half.
- Albertus outshot Norwich, 9-4 in the second half.
