WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — To open the 2024-25 season, Maria Estrada (Guatemala City, Guatemala) placed eighth in the women's pentathlon for the Albertus Magnus College women's swimming & diving team at the University of Saint Joseph's (Conn.) Pentathlon on Friday.
Estrada secured a time of 3:19.41, just 11 seconds shy of seventh-place finisher Camille Atte from Eastern Connecticut State University and 53 seconds faster than the Warriors Sadie Tscheppe.
The Falcons return to the pool on October 26 at 1 p.m. at SUNY Delhi.
