New Haven, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College athletic department is pleased to report that during the Fall 2015 semester, 48 Falcon student-athletes earned Dean’s List honors. In total, 23 male and 25 female Albertus Magnus student-athletes received the distinction for their hard work in the classroom.
“This is a great example of the efforts of our coaches, faculty mentors, faculty advisors and of course our student-athletes, all working together to keep a balanced and well-rounded college experience,” Albertus Magnus Director of Athletics Jim Abromaitis said.
In order to be named to the Dean’s List, an AMC student must have attained a honor-point average of at least 3.50, or a 3.30 average with no grade below a B during the semester. Members of 12 different varsity teams were represented on the list with the women’s soccer team having 10 student-athletes recognized. There were also four multi-sport athletes to earn this distinction as well.
