Albertus Magnus Athletics Releases Winter Sports Plan

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After thorough review and continuing consultation with campus leadership and at the local, state and federal levels, Albertus Magnus College is planning for limited intercollegiate competition in men's and women's basketball and men's ice hockey.

Women's swimming & diving will have the opportunity to compete in virtual meets.

The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Presidents Council voted to cancel the winter regular season conference schedule and championships in men's and women's basketball and women's swimming & diving on November 2.The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) followed suit on November 23.

All games played will be considered non-conference in the hopes of meeting the NCAA's minimum requirement for championship access. Spectators will not be permitted in "The Nest", Swimming Pool or Ralph Walker Skating Rink. Live video streams will be provided for most home events at portal.stretchinternet.com/Albertus.
