NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team took time out their spring season to put together how-to videos for sport-specific skills and drills for anyone to use as a part of the athletic department's service-project initiative over the year.

With the loss of athletic completion, the Albertus athletic department gave each team the opportunity to perform service projects special to them and related to the four pillars of the College - community, service, prayer, and study. The project was also a part of athletics' celebration of Division III Week. D3 week gives colleges all over the country a chance to recognize student-athletes academic, athletic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular achievements.

The Falcons' men's golf team recorded two golf-specific skills videos. The first details the proper stance and the golfer's placement relative to the ball. The second video discusses the grip for the golf club and the ball positioning for wedge shots. Watch sophomore David Aquavia (Oakville, Conn.) give an example in the videos below!

"The guys really enjoyed putting these videos together for the New Haven community," said Head Coach J.R. Fredette. "The team wants these clips to help at least one person better understand the game of golf."
