New Addition to the Team, Mia Mulin Named Assistant Sports Information Director

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Mia Mulin has been named the Assistant Sports Information Director at Albertus Magnus College, effective March 13, 2023.

"I am extremely thrilled to join the Falcon family. The student-athletes, faculty, and staff have already made me feel extremely welcomed and at home here," said Mulin. "I am excited to form new relationships with the members of the Albertus community and look forward to what the future brings in my new role in the Sports Information Department."

Mulin comes from Southern Connecticut State University, where she worked as a part-time assistant in the Athletic Communications Department, covering Southern's 17 Division II intercollegiate programs. In addition to her athletic communication duties, Mulin served as an assistant coach for the women's soccer team.

Mulin's first experience in athletic communications came at SCSU, where she worked as a student worker in the spring of 2022. Her career began by covering all home game events over a variety of social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

A native of Stratford, Conn., Mulin graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Media & Communications and Studio Art. She was also a four-year member of the women's soccer team as a forward and worked as an administrator for the program's social media platforms.

Mulin then completed a master's degree in Sport and Entertainment Management in 2022 at SCSU. Mulin was also a member of the Owls women's soccer team during the 2021-22 season, where the Owls reached the Northeast-10 Conference Finals for the second time in three years.
